Old habits die hard. That’s not always a bad thing, either. I’ve been meeting at 830am for run club for going on fourteen years, with a break here and there of course. So meeting at the rec centre for 830 as usual... but then ducking inside for a swim and my physio exercises instead as I watch the group set out on their 10k Sunday run ... there’s something normal-ish about that. I completed my weekly goal of laps, added a couple more for good measure, and then did some slow pedalling on the bike upstairs. Coffee followed, with a side order of post-run-club conversation for good measure.
