My new watch arrived last night and after poking around on the buttons and doing some basic firmware upgrading I really wanted to get out for a run. Two problems. I have a longer run tomorrow, and my knee has still been bugging me. Luckily, the watch suggested I do a short baseline run, a kind of jog-run-jog workout it had provided as a calibration exercise... for the watch, not me. It was also a good excuse to test out the knee with something besides walking for a short distance. Nine whole minutes later I feel like I'm starting fresh... which I almost am, right?
