I’m used to a tough workout on a Sunday morning, what with that being our regular run day for the last dozen years. But there’s always those occasional Sunday mornings when you’ve been out with folks the night before, downed a couple glasses of wine, and stayed up later than normal. Today was that day, coupled with the fact that my abbreviated swim from earlier in the week had me prescribed to do a longer push to make up for the missed distance and meet my weekly goal. I logged sixty lengths and logged a klick and a half, but it’s left me feeling a bit wobbly even a couple hours on. Sign of a good workout? Maybe. Or sign of a good night? Probably.
