It may seem obvious but spicing your food well during a diet can make a lot of difference. Flavours are a huge part of eating and feeling satiated at the end of a meal. If you use hot sauce, or strong flavours, or put a dash of salt and pepper on otherwise bland veggies, for example, you start to feel just a little fuller even with a smaller portion for little or zero extra calories. And hey, something super-spicy may make you eat slower, too.
